Chess as a compulsory subject in school

NOT A JOKE.  This is all so true.  In Armenia, that is.

Apparently, Armenians are very keen on gaining worldwide recognition as a chess powerhouse, so much so that they have included Chess as a separate curriculum in primary school that now requires children from age six at least two hours of playing Chess per week.

Isn’t that a great idea!
