FORGIVE my limited vocabulary but “dreamy” just happened to be the first word that came to mind the first time I set eyes on Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol. There’s something surreal about the whole place — the hundreds of bancas berthed by the beach, the palm trees reclining toward the sea, the purple sky… I was so mesmerized by the place that I almost called a man with a van and considered moving.
WE DID two resort-hotels in our 2-nights-and-2-days stay in Cebu. So there should be no reason we couldn’t do two resort-hotels in our 3-nights-and-2-days stay in Bohol.

For our annual family holiday we went to Cebu and Bohol. We were planning to do Singapore but on December 31 we learned that my xxGF’s PAL miles would expire with the year so we hurriedly booked a trip that her miles could afford. Sayang ang miles!

She had enough only for a domestic trip. That’s a lot better than having to pay regular rates for our Singapore vacation. Besides, the kids have not been to Cebu and Bohol yet, and I have not been to Bohol yet likewise. So to Cebu and Bohol we went.
