DURING OUR family’s visit to General Santos City and South Cotabato last month (May 24-25)Â we got to visit the famous Seven Falls of Lake Sebu, courtesy of our good friends: Kuya Bob Gerada and the still honeymooning couple, Ryan and Liezel Briones.
Needless to say, Marielle (almost 11 yo) and Johan (9 yo) were ecstatic to find out that another zipline adventure awaited them in Lake Sebu.
And this is no ordinary zipline for two important reasons: Read more
THIS METAL sculpture rightfully belongs to a museum. It was made by one of Philippines’ national artists (note to self: find out who exactly is the national artist who did this masterpiece). It also depicts and symbolizes the beginnings and the history of the country’s logistics industry, a sector instrumental in the advancements of the country’s commerce and trade.
In the meantime his artistic masterpiece hangs by the wall in the staircase of the headquarters of Delbros Group in Parañaque City.
THIS IS not a particularly good photo if I must say so. However, considering that I took it with just my iPhone camera through my car’s windshield while driving on top of the Buendia flyover… I’d say it is not half as bad after all.

While in Singapore on November 8 Ed texted me to say that he just bought his new 16GB iPad Mini (WiFi) for just US375 and offered to buy one for me if I was interested. Read more
SOMEBODY shared this photo to me via FaceBook. I was trying to trace where or from whom it originally came from so that I can give proper credit and ask permission to repost. But knowing how easy it is to share contents in FaceBook it is already almost impossible to identify the original source unless it is incorporated into the content itself. Whoever owns this photo, thank you very much for sharing it.
I hope to build something very similar to this for myself someday. I will call it my “dampang marmol” (shanty made of marble)… my perfect getaway place where I can sleep all day or maybe write a book.
I’ll probably introduce a few modifications, however. Read more
