DECEMBER 2, 2011 – For our annual family vacation to celebrate our wedding anniversary this year, my xxGF and I brought Marielle and Johan to a still undisclosed place somewhere in Marinduque (i.e. the kids did not have any idea where exactly we were going until we got there).
Marinduque is an island province of the Philippines located in the MIMAROPA (MIndoro, MArinduque, ROmblon, PAlawan) region. Check out Wikipedia for more details about Marinduque.
Here’s a short slideshow of some photos we took during our trip. If the slideshow doesn’t show immediately you may have to refresh your browser (sorry about that…probably browser compatibility issue).
The airplane ride to Marinduque is just about 30 minutes, although on December 2 we had to wait two hours for our flight because of a technical issue with the airplane (we actually boarded the same airplane twice!). The only airline that service the island province is Zest Air, by the way.
We still had to travel by land for about 45 minutes from the airport in Marinduque to go to our final destination.
