I TOOK this photo in one of the coves at the tip of the Bataan Peninsula in Mariveles, Bataan. It is a typical fishing village that can be found in hundreds of other places all over the Philippines.
What caught my attention with this particular fishing village is the uniform color of the bancas — yellow. A lone black banca somewhere in the middle provided the perfect contrast.
My photographic skills are obviously amateurish but there’s no denying that the place is beautiful. So are many other places in the Philippines. We are so blessed!
