Colorful Sunset at Newport City

AFTER eating and looking around for a couple of hours in Resort World Manila we decided to go out and check out the new and huge salmon-colored church in Newport City, right infront of NAIA Terminal 3 — the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.

It was dusk and the extraordinarily colorful sky did not fail to catch my attention.

The salmon-colored church with a domed roof… The old water tank in the middle of the former navy barracks that has been retained for its aesthetic value… And the recently built condominium buildings of Newport City.  These provided just the right foreground to the amber sky.

I took some shots using my Canon 550D DSLR.  I knew the photos would be naturally beautiful in spite of my amateurish photographic skills.  Still, the outcome exceeded all my expectations.
