NOVEMBER 14, ISRAEL. It has been seven days since we left Manila to begin our Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and it the fourth day since we entered Israel via the Taba border in Egypt. Earlier in the day we begun our day-long journey from Tiberias City in the Galilee region to our ultimate destination, Jerusalem. Along the way we passed by the squeeky clean City of Haifa, the ancient Roman city of Caesaria, and the business and commercial capital, Tel Aviv.
By around 4 o’clock in the afternoon we finally reached the outskirts of the City of Jerusalem. But we were not to enter the city outright.
Our first stop in Jerusalem is a very important place — Jerusalem Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the site of the Visitation.

How much did your pilgrimage package cost? I’m planning to go on one next year and it costs at least US$3000! Is that a good price?
Hi Cheryl, I think it costs about the same (around US$3,000 per pax). I think that’s the going rate. It’s for a 10-day trip that will start from Egypt (Cairo, Giza, Sinai), around Israel (almost in its entirety), and end in Jordan (Amman, Petra). I’d say it’s worth it. I must warn you that it is a very physically demanding trip, however.
Greetings in the might name of Jesus.I need to visit the holy land in Israel in 2012 what are the conditions. Blessings.
