To say that the biblical Burning Bush (Exodus 3:2) gave me the biggest surprise of my life is an understatement. My imagination completely failed me insofar as my expectations on what it is and how it looks like are concerned.

I blame it to Hollywood. The portrayal of the burning bush in the iconic The Ten Commandments movie has burned (pun intended) a permanent image in most people’s minds, myself included, and accepted as biblical truth (again, pun intended).
When i finally laid my eyes on the Burning Bush my reaction was that of a confused shock. ”Really????” “Are you sure???” “Huh!???
It’s not even a bush! It’s more of a… Is it a vine?
