The doctor is a fish

The strange sensation is unsettling at first. But you get used to it and soon enough you will be enjoying it.

What I am describing is the one-of-a-kind experience of having hundreds of tiny fish nibble at your feet and toes.

That’s one of the things we went to try at the Manila Ocean Park on New Year’s Eve.

It’s called Fish Spa. They claim that fish treatment is therapheutic and can actually aid in healing minor wounds on your feet and/or toes.  The fish apparently nibble at (i.e. Eat) the dead cells in your feet and toes.  Sounds like an “eew” moment to us but apparently for the fish the dead cells in our feet and toes are apparently a rare delicacy.  And if you have a wound or two in your feet or toes, that’s even yummier for them. Now that’s really gross!
