Of weddings and miracles (A Pilgrimage to the Holy Land)

I already blogged about My Wedding in Cana last month.  But where is Cana and why do so many married couples go through all the troubles to renew their wedding vows there?

Cana is now perpetually associated with two things:  weddings and miracles. A quick review of the Gospel of John (John 2:1-11) will remind us of the wedding feast attended by Jesus.  That wedding was in Cana.  In the same wedding, according to St. John, Jesus performed his very first public miracle.  He turned water into wine.
