Discovering Burgos Drive

I had no idea that there are already several open establishments in that part of Bonifacio Global City until about two weeks before Christmas, when my xxGF and her friends and former colleagues in SGV – The Bonsais – had their yearly Christmas get-together in one of the dining places there. Apparently, Burgos Drive has quickly established itself as THE new “must try” dining destination in Metro Manila.

On December 19, my xxGF and I went back to Burgos Drive looking for delicacies for Christmas gifts. It was late in the afternoon and it just rained. Most shops in Burgos Drive were closed but we found some that were open and we also found a shop with the stuff we were looking for.

While inside the car waiting for my xxGF who was buying some stuff inside one of the shops I fancied taking a couple of photos of Burgos Drive. The warm yellow lights from the open shops and the freshly rain-drenched landscape somehow connived to give me a rare photographic treat. Even from my lowly iPhone camera the photos looked… enchanting.
