A hospital is not exactly an ideal venue for a lunch date. But it was an unplanned lunch date and it so happened that we just came from the ER of St. Luke’s Global City when hunger struck.
Of course St. Luke’s Global City is not your typical hospital. We found a Bizu outlet somewhere near the lobby and decided to try what they have for lunch.
We ordered a waldorf salad and the Ten-Hour Roast U.S. Beef Belly. I was relieved to learn that we didn’t really have to wait 10 hours. Both were ample in their serving and taste great.
Oh, yes of course we ordered dessert. Opera, a gateau of sponge cake with coffee butter cream and dark chocolate ganache was just okay. Their brewed coffee was also just okay. Both are generally forgettable.
Good thing we ordered some of their baked products to take away. Not sure what exactly they are but I think they’re called Macarons de Paris. I found out much later (in the evening, at home) that they are very very good. I usually do not fancy baked stuff but these were different. I thoroughly enjoyed ‘em.
In general it was a very good “dining” experience we had in Bizu. Quite pricey though.
I would rate it a four star (out of five).
