Well… that seems to be the subject matter of many online news headlines and tweets in the past 24-48 hours. The headlines tell all:
- “Triceratops Never Really Existed”
- “Scientists: Triceratops is a young version of Torosaurus”
- And so on…
I guess there’s a single and quite simple way to resolve this dilemma. Since Triceratops has already managed to gain much more fame than its adult counterpart, why not just reverse the headlines:
- “Torosaurus ‘Never Really Existed’”
- “Torosaurus is an old version of Triceratops”
- And so on…
I think that will work.
