DESTROYER is only my 6th iPhone game after DuckShoot, iSniper, Twistism (FREE version), Super Word Find (FREE version), and Online Chess (which I am yet to use; FREE version, too). †It’s a “no brainer” game, actually, but that’s really by design. †This is not a game to exercise creativity and boost IQ. †It’s designed for one and only one purpose: †to let off steam.
There’s a “real world” equivalent in a popular roadside restaurant in Tarlac. †It’s called “Taksiyapo!”
The real challenge is getting a photo of somebody you hate or has a grudge with. †After all you don’t normally take a photo of your enemies, or do you?
DICTIONARY. †I love this Dictionary application. †Simple and super fast. †And it’s free, and that is not even its best feature. †It has definitions for words like “f*ck” (including its variations and derivatives like f*cking, f*ck up, f*cker, etc.), sh-t, a~~hole, etc. †Finally I now know what these words mean, LOL.
NIGHT CAMERA. †At long last I found an alternative to iPhone’s built in camera application. †My primary interest on it is its digital zoom feature (5x). †But that’s not all that it has. †This iPhone camera application has features that even my new digicam does not have. †Pretty decent for evening shots, too. †Cost me $0.99 which is absolutely nothing compared to the cost of even the most basic digicam in the market.
SPANISH DICTIONARY. †This has a lite (and free) version but I decided to go for the $0.99 version. †It’s not a full dictionary but it contains most of the Spanish words that a non-Spanish will probably encounter in her lifetime, unless she lives in Spain or Latin America, or enroll in a Spanish Language class, or marry a rich SeÒor. †I call it my handy companion guide to Dora the Explorer and Diego.
SPEL IT RITE. †That’s right! †This is a test of spelling skill. †Quite addicting, it’s actually a game with the objective of choosing the correct spelling of 10 different words (per round) in the shortest possible time. †There are 2 spelling “choices” per word. †My record so far is 15.84 seconds. †Beat that.
TRANSLATOR is a handy jetsetter’s companion. †It can translate basic greetings and common phrases quite decently. †Be more verbose and creative with your sentence construction and it magically transforms from a reference tool to a source of entertainment.
