Yose Bashi

Don’t use your chopsticks to pull a dish toward you or push it away from you.

Sashi Bashi

Don’t spear food with your chopsticks.

Nigiri Bashi

The act of holding the chopsticks while moving a bowl. When you move a bowl or plate, always put the chopsticks on the table.

Hiroi Bashi (passing food from chopsticks)

This is greatly disliked because it is customary to handle ashes this way at the crematorium.
