Booked again

When I was just starting with my blogging I used to write a lot about the books Iíve read or was reading at the time. †I used to read at least two books a month. †And then slowly Iíve been doing more blogging than reading.† And came my other blogging projects, and Facebook and TwitterÖ

Before I knew it I simply didnít have enough time to read books anymore.† Witnesses to this fact are the growing piles of books on my bookshelf.† For even though I continue to buy books to add to the pile I could no longer squeeze in reading in my super busy schedule.

Last Monday I was staring blankly at my bookshelf when I suddenly felt like reading.† I pulled out two books:† In the Presence of my Enemies by Gracia Burnham with Deam Merill and A Time for Freedom by Lynne Cheney.

I have already started reading both books and immensely enjoying it, especially In the Presence of my Enemies.

BTW, I acquired both books at a bargain on separate book bazaars.† The price tags are still in tact ñ In the Presence of my Enemies cost me only P50, while A Time for Freedom (a hard-bound book) cost me just P99.† Would you believe that?!

I’ll surely blog about how I find both books as soon as I finish reading them. †But even now I can already say that both are great. †And I am so glad I am “booked” again. :-)
