I FOUND this very interesting article on Business Opportunities Weblog Network.
A British inventor named David Baker has submitted a patent application for this keyboard which he claims could solve the problem of accidental key presses.
Baker calls his innovative keyboard design “Crocodile Keyboard”†because its keys are shaped like the reptileís sharp teeth.
The Crocodie Keyboard’s triangular keys are its key innovation (pun intended). †Because of their triangular shape there are significantly more dead spaces around and between them than youíd find on a standard QWERTY keyboard. †Consequently (or it is hoped), users are more likely to press the correct key each time they tap.
Apparently, Baker’s Crocodile Keyboard was originally designed as a physical keyboard for the Palm Pilot but the project was killed due to manufacturing costs.
Now it would be very interesting to watch out how this keyboard innovation will progress. †I am sure iPhone users are among the most interested with this. †I am.
