Okay I’ll give a clue. †This is a trick question. †Well, kind of, that is.
Previous reports announcing Americaís best-selling vehicle may have been all wrong. †While the Ford F-Series pickup has topped the vehicle sales list for as long as Americans can remember, the “Best Seller” crown †has shifted back-and-forth from the Taurus to the Accord to the Camry for the past few decades. †Or that’s what everybody has been led to believe.
A hugely unlikely American carmaker may be the rightful owner of that distinction. †Now hold your breath…
If the recently released sales figures of Little Tikes Co.†are to be believed, its iconic Cozy Coupe has outsold all of those four-door family sedans throughout its 30-year production run. †Last year alone the company moved 457,000 of them, handily besting the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
Oh by the way, the red plastic coupe with the yellow top turns 30 this year.†
