At long last, copy-cut-paste on the iPhone
FINALLY, the long wait is over. †The much anticipated OS upgrade of iPhone (iPhone 3.0) became available for download yesterday.
I made my download late last night, over Globe Visibility. †Globe Visibility was, as usual, very erratic and I had to painstakingly keep on re-attempting the download many times over. †It put my patience to an extreme test. †Good thing, there was the “Masked Magician” on AXN at 12mn. †Shortly past 1am my download was completed. †Hallelujah!
The rest was easy — installing the upgrade on my iPhone, that is.
It was worth the trouble. †I lost my Bite SMS and a couple of other “jailbreak” apps in the process. †But that’s okay. †iPhone 3.o effectively rendered the Bite SMS application superfluous. †My other “jailbreak” applications are nothing important. †I don’t even recall having used them at all after I have downloaded and installed them on my iPhone.
I am yet to discover all the “enhancements” offered by iPhone 3.0. †Truth is, there is only one feature that matters (at least to me): †COPY-CUT-PASTE. †The rest are but a bonus.
Nevertheless, for those interested to learn about the exciting new stuff made available†by Apple†on iPhone 3.o, click here.
