IT HAPPENED†late in April. †One billion (that’s 1 followed by 9 zeroes)†downloads†in less than a year! †Approximately 3,650,000 downloads every single day. †I am sure even the bright boys in Apple could not have foreseen that.

But what is even more amazing is to realize that I have been a part of this historic milestone. †Thirty eight. †That’s my contribution to Apple’s One Billion Downloads. †0.0000038 percent. †It may seem insignificant, alright. †But I would like to believe that my Apps Download profile represents the bigger part of iPhone and iTouch users worlwide. †Without me and the several million others out there, the One Billion target will not be achieved.
