†
I CONSIDER the topic of my blog post on January 30 as the most disturbing so far.† Until this one, that is.
†
You may have read about this survey result on some papers late last year.† I’ve seen a number of articles about it on the Tech Section of some dailies but did not have the time to read them then.
†
I am referring to the the survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of chipmaking giant Intel.† Intel wanted to underscore how important Internet has become in the lives of Americans (yes the survey was conducted in America only so its results may not necessarily reflect on the rest of the world).
†
A couple of evenings ago I was googling for reference materials for another blog post that I am trying to put together when I accidentally stumbled on a press release about the results of this survey on Intel’s Website.† This time I took time to read it.
†

Of course the part that really intrigued me is the one that has to do with sex.† According to the survey, almost half of the women and almost a third of the men surveyed would prefer to abstain from sex rather than give up their Internet access over the same period.
†
It would be interesting to ask the same question in this part of the world, wouldn’t it?† So would you rather not have sex than not have Internet access?

Note: †The images and framed texts were “grabbed” from the actual press release on the Intel Website.

Bwa-ha-ha! Nice one Conrad. Did you mean surfing while having sex or doing Cybersex? Either one sounds good to me!
Why not sex and Internet at the sex time?
Internet or sex? Hmmm. I’ll think about it later. Still busy with YM. LOL!
