ALTHOUGH DOWNLOADING WEB PAGES and saving them to a storage device is obviously the more practical way to get or copy online information, there are times when we really need to print materials from Websites.† Some Websites offer a printer-friendly way to copy their materials but most others donít.
The problem with printing non-printer-friendly Web pages is that there are too much unnecessary and unwanted information that youíd rather not waste precious and expensive printer ink on.† It is not environment-friendly, too.
I came across a featured article on a recent TECH 101 section of the Manila Bulletin (under the byline ìHaving Fun with I.T.î) which offers a neat solution to this Web page printing dilemma.† Itís a FREE online service called PRINT WHAT YOU LIKE.
I tried it and I find it very easy to use.† It even has a simple and short step-by-step guide on how it works, right at its home page.
Next time you need to print materials from a Website without a printer-friendly feature, try this.
But frankly, why do you need to print at all?† Personally, I have almost entirely avoided the need to print.† But thatís NOT what this blog post is about so I am not going to push the issue for now. †Maybe next time. #

Hey Bong, this is great! I tried it and I like it a lot. Now I do not have to waste ink on those online ads and unnecessary links.
