When I opened my gmail account last night I was pleasantly surprised — and quite amused ñ to find an ‘essay’ I wrote myself forwarded to me by a friend and former officemate. Knowing the source too well I am 100% sure she didn’t even bother to check where the ‘essay’ originated and/or who wrote it in the first place. It actually got passed on at least half a dozen times already, reaching as far as Australia down under, to a few States in the USA halfway around the world.
This ‘essay’ I am talking about was actually just an ‘inspired’ e-mail message I sent to my UP-MBA pals a couple of years ago. Through the urging of Karen (Dumlao), one of my UP-MBA pals, I had it posted some time in December 2007 in an online magazine or e-zine (www.foradultsalso.com) which I also co-moderate and co-edit. From the e-zine the article must have been e-mailed to some people who have read it.
After several forwards it landed on my Gmail inbox. The Internet and E-mail are such wonderful inventions that are revolutionizing human communications!
